At sea aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) Jan. 25, 2003 -- An aviation ordnanceman clears the catapult area after removing the arming pin from the Captive Air Training Missile (CATM) on an F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the "Blue Diamonds" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Four Six (VFA-146) prior to launching from one of four steam driven catapults on the shipÕs flight deck.  Carl Vinson is underway in the Southern Pacific Ocean conducting training in preparation for the next regularly scheduled six-month deployment.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 2nd Class Inez Lawson.  (RELEASED)
