Crewmembers line the flight deck of U.S. Navy's nuclear powered
aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) in preparation for the
launch of an FA-18C Hornet assigned to the "Wildcats" of Fighter
Attack Squadron One Three One (VFA-131), February 17, 1996. Washington,
commanded by CAPT Malcolm P. Branch, is currently on a scheduled
six-month deployment to the Mediterranean, and has been operating in
the Adriatic Sea in support of the NATO-led Operation Joint Endeavor.
