At sea aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) November 15, 2001 -- An
F/A-18 Hornet assigned to the "Thunderbolts" of Fighter
Attack-Squadron Two Five One (VMFA-251) makes its approach for a
carrier arrested landing following a strike mission over
Afghanistan. An aircrew assigned to the "Diamondbacks" of Fighter
Squadron One Zero Two (VF-102) observes the landing from an
F-14 Tomcat as they await their own launch instructions. Theodore
Roosevelt and her embarked Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1) are conducting
missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. U.S. Navy
