7th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR) Mar. 23, 2004 -- An Aviation Boatswain's Mate directs an aircraft onto one of four steam-powered catapults as a "Shooter" keeps a close eye on all of the movement on the flight deck aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63).
