Andrews Air Force Base, Md. (May 14, 2004) - Flying in a "Diamond"
formation, four F/A-18A Hornets assigned to the U.S. Navy flight
demonstration team, the "Blue Angels," perform a slow-speed aircraft
carrier approach with their landing gear and tail hooks down, at the
2004 Joint Service Open House. The "Blue Angels" fly the F/A-18A Hornet
as they perform approximately 30 maneuvers during the aerial
demonstration, which runs approximately an hour and 15 minutes. The
Open House, held on May 14-16th at Andrews Air Force Base, Md.,
showcased civilian and military aircraft from the Nation's armed
forces, which provided many flight demonstrations and static displays.
