A Navy F/A-18C Hornet goes to full power as it catches the wire on the flight deck of the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) in the Pacific Ocean on July 27, 2004.  The Stennis and Carrier Air Wing 14 are deployed in support of Summer Pulse 2004, a Navy exercise where seven aircraft carrier strike groups will learn new ways of operating, training, manning and maintaining their fleet.  The Hornet is attached to Strike Fighter Squadron 25.  DoD photo by Airman Ron Reeves, U.S. Navy.  (Released)
