Iraqi Air Space (Aug. 14, 2004) -- A pair of F/A-18C Hornets assigned
to the "Blue Blasters" of Strike Fighter Squadron Three Four (VFA-34)
and an F-14B Tomcat assigned to the "Jolly Rogers" of Fighter Squadron
One Zero Three (VF-103) fly in loose formation over Iraq during a
combat mission in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). VFA-34 and
VF-103 are currently assigned to Carrier Air Wing Seventeen (CVW-17),
embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67). U.S.
