Andaman Sea (Jan. 13, 2005) -- An F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to the
"Vigilantes" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Five One (VFA-151),
prepares for an arrested landing aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft
carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Flight operations are being
conducted to keep the pilots and aircrew assigned to Carrier Air Wing
Two (CVW-2) qualified while Abraham Lincoln is conducting humanitarian
aid missions on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. Helicopters assigned
to CVW-2 and Sailors from Abraham Lincoln are supporting Operation
Unified Assistance, the humanitarian operation effort in the wake of
the Tsunami that struck South East Asia. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier
Strike Group is currently operating in the Indian Ocean off the waters
