Persian Gulf (Jan. 15, 2005) -- An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the "Gunslingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Zero Five (VFA-105) drops an inert MK-82 general purpose bomb towards the wake of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) during a low-pass training exercise for new pilots reporting aboard Truman. Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) is embarked aboard Truman and is providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions over Iraq.  The Truman Strike Group and CVW-3 are on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
