Persian Gulf (Jan. 15, 2005) - An F/A-18 Hornet assigned to the "Silver
Eagles" of Marine Strike Fighter Squadron One One Five (VMFA-115)
clears the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry
S. Truman (CVN 75) while launching from the ship's waist during evening
combat sorties. Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) is embarked aboard
Truman and is providing close air support and conducting intelligence,
surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions over Iraq. The
Truman Strike Group and CVW-3 are on a regularly scheduled deployment
