Persian Gulf (Jan. 21, 2005) -- Flight deck personnel perform final
checks on an F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to the "Gunslingers" of Strike
Fighter Squadron One Zero Five (VFA-105), prior to launch aboard the
Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Carrier Air
Wing Three (CVW-3) is embarked aboard Truman and is providing close air
support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance
(ISR) missions over Iraq. The Truman Strike Group is on a regularly
scheduled deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism. U.S.
