Persian Gulf (Jan. 18, 2005) -- Lt. John Snyder gives the okay to launch an F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the "Bulls" of Strike Fighter Squadron Three Seven (VFA-37) from the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) is embarked aboard Truman and is providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions over Iraq.
