Pacific Ocean  (Jan. 20, 2006) -- An F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the "Kestrels" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Three Seven (VFA-137) is raised to the flight deck by elevator from the hangar bay aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln and Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) are underway off the coast of Southern California conducting flight operations in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
