PACIFIC OCEAN (May 19, 2008) -- An F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the "Eagles" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 115 heads towards the arresting gear cables on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) becoming one of the first aircraft to be flown onto the ship for it's 2008 deployment. Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 14 flew onto Ronald Reagan hours after the ship departed from its homeport of San Diego for a scheduled deployment.
