Chicago (Aug. 20, 2005) -- An F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the "Gladiators" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Zero Six (VFA-106), conducts a high-speed pass over North Avenue Beach during the Chicago Air and Water Show. VFA-106 is the East Coast Fleet Replacement Squadron for all models of the F/A-18 Hornet aircraft and is stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana, Va.
