Persian Gulf (Sept. 17, 2005) -- Pilots prepare for take off in an
F/A-18F Super Hornet on the flight deck aboard the nuclear-powered
aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Strike Group is
currently on a regularly scheduled deployment and is participating in
Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO set the conditions for security
and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the
counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations. U.S. Navy
