Pacific Ocean (Feb. 7, 2006) -- An F/A-18F Super Hornet from the "Salty Dogs" of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Two Three (VX-23) comes in for landing on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74).  Stennis is currently conducting flight deck certifications in the Southern California operating area after completing an 11-month overhaul at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
