Forty One (VFA-41) prepares to launch from one of four steam-powered
catapults on the flight deck aboard USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The
Nimitz Carrier Strike Force and Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) are
deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the multi-national
coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons
of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein. U.S.
