Pacific Ocean (June 18, 2006) -- An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the Death Rattlers of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron Three Two Three (VMFA-323) launches from flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Stennis and embarked Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) are currently underway conducting Tailored Ship's Training Availability (TSTA) off the coast of Southern California.
