Arabian Gulf (Jul. 29, 2003) -- A Flight Deck Shooter gives the signal
to launch an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "Black Aces" of
Strike Fighter Squadron Forty One (VFA-41) off one of the four steam
powered catapults on the flight deck aboard USS Nimitz (CVN 68).
Nimitz Strike Force and Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) are currently
deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi
Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi
people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the
