PERSIAN GULF (June 15, 2007) -- An F/A-18F Super Hornet, from the
"Black Knights" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 154, lands on
Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). This
arrested landing marked Stennis' 100,000th trap since it's first
initial trap in January 1996. Stennis and Carrier Air Wing 9 are on a
scheduled deployment in support of maritime operations. Maritime
operations help set the conditions for security and stability in the
maritime environment, as well as complement counter-terrorism and
