ARABIAN SEA (May 17, 2007) -- An F/A-18F Super Hornet from the "Black
Knights" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 154 prepares to take off from
the flight deck aboard Nimitz-class carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN
74). Stennis, as part of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, is
on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime
Operations. Maritime Operations help set the conditions for
security and stability in the maritime environment, as well as
complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional
