INDIAN OCEAN (May 11, 2007) -- An F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to the "Black Aces" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 41, launches from the flight deck aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11 are deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet, conducting Maritime Security Operations and supporting troops participation in Operation Enduring Freedom.
