PACIFIC OCEAN (April 16, 2008) -- Lt. Sandra Kosloski signals to launch
an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "Black Aces" of Strike Fighter
Squadron (VFA) 41 from the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz
(CVN 68). Nimitz is operating as part of the U.S. 7th Fleet in the
western Pacific and Indian oceans. The U.S. 7th Fleet is the largest of
the forward-deployed fleets with approximately 50 ships, 120 aircraft
and 20,000 Sailors and Marines assigned at any given time. U.S. Navy
