U.S. Air Force ground crew members do a final inspection of an F-117A
Nighthawk aircraft before it departs for Kuwait from Holloman Air Force
Base, N.M., on Nov. 19, 1997. Six of the stealth fighters will
join a large force of approximately 120 U.S. Air Force aircraft in the
region proving support to Operation Southern Watch which is the U.S.
and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq.
The aircraft are deploying to the Persian Gulf from the 8th Fighter
