Persian Gulf (Sept. 15, 2005) -- A C-2 Greyhound assigned to the
"Providers" of Carrier Logistics Support Squadron Three Zero (VRC-30)
prepares to launch from the flight deck aboard the nuclear-powered
aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group
is currently on a regularly scheduled deployment and is participating
in Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO set the conditions for
security and stability in the maritime environment as well as
complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional
