South China Sea (Aug 8, 2006) -- A C-2A Greyhound assigned to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Three Zero (VRC-30) prepares to land aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). C-2A Greyhound is the principal aircraft for Carrier On-board Delivery (COD) of personnel and material. Currently under way in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility, Kitty Hawk demonstrates power projection and sea control as the U.S. Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
