Aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) Sept. 14, 2003 -- A C-2A Greyhound assigned to the "Providers" of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron Thirty (VRC-30/Det 4) is the first plane to launch during the fly off of Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) from the flight deck of USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70).  The Providers are home based at Naval Air Station North Island, Calif.  The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is returning home, to the West Coast this week, following an eight-month deployment to the Western Pacific in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate Airman Chris M.
