Sailors and aircrew attached to Light Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 47 conduct hot-in-flight refueling of a SH-60B Seahawk helicopter from the deck of the USS Antietam (CG-54) while the ship operates at sea on March 22, 2000.  Hot-in-flight refueling is necessary when landing to refuel on a smaller U.S. Navy vessel would be too dangerous for the ship, helicopter and aircrew.  USS Antietam is a Ticonderoga class cruiser homeported in San Diego, Calif.  The Seahawk is based at Naval Air Station North Island, Calif.  DoD photo by Petty Officer 2nd Class Ty Swartz, U.S. Navy.   (Released)
