Central Command Area of Responsibility (August 22, 2003) -- Aviation
Warfare Systems Operator 2nd Class Ariel Galpo, from Sacramento,
Calif., assigned to the "Indians" of Anti-Submarine Warfare Helicopter
Squadron Six (HS-6), participates in an aerial force protection
mission while transiting through the Straights of Hormuz. The
Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) are
deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and other operations as
