amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) during a disaster
assistance mission in Haiti. Kearsarge has been diverted from the
scheduled Continuing Promise 2008 humanitarian assistance deployment in
the western Caribbean to conduct hurricane relief operations in
