Philippine Sea (Jun 6, 2003) -- Airmen from the "Eightballers" of
Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Eight (HS-8) rush to chock and chain
an SH-60F Sea Hawk aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in preparation for a
crew change during flight operations while a second Sea Hawk approaches
the flight deck. The Vinson Carrier Strike Force has been
extended on deployment in the Western Pacific Ocean while the
forward-deployed USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) undergoes maintenance in order
to maintain a responsible defensive posture in the region. U.S.
