Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, Calif. (May 2, 2003) -- An SH-60F Seahawk assigned to the "War Hawks" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Ten (HS-10) flies channel guard for USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) as she enters San Diego Harbor.
The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group flew more than 1600 sorties and expended 1.6 million pounds of ordnance, including 116 Tomahawks during the deployment. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate Airman Andrew J.
