Indian Ocean (Apr. 20, 2004) - An SH-60F Seahawk pilot assigned to the "Chargers" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Fourteen (HS-14) watches his Landing Signalman Enlisted (LSE) while performing a "hot fuel" aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). Hot fueling is the refueling of a helicopter or aircraft while its engine is still turning. Currently under way in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR), Kitty Hawk is the U.S. Navy's oldest active aircraft carrier, and one of the first modern "super carriers" commissioned in 1961.
