Indian Ocean (Apr. 20, 2004) - Two SH-60F Seahawks assigned to the "Chargers" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Fourteen (HS-14) come in for a landing on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). The Seahawk is a twin-engine helicopter used for anti-submarine warfare, search and rescue, anti-ship warfare, vertical replenishment, and special operations. Currently under way in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR), Kitty Hawk is the Navy's oldest aircraft carrier, and one of the first of the modern "super carriers," commissioned in 1961.
