Pacific Ocean (July 22, 2004) - Landing Signal Enlisted (LSE) Personnel assigned to the "Chargers" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron One Four (HS-14) signal to an SH-60H Seahawk helicopter aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). Seahawks are a twin-engine helicopter used for anti-ship and submarine warfare, search and rescue and conduct cargo lifts and special operations. Kitty Hawk is one of seven carrier strike groups (CSGs) involved in Summer Pulse 2004. Summer Pulse 2004 is the deployment of seven carrier strike groups (CSGs), demonstrating the ability of the Navy to provide credible combat capability across the globe, in five theaters with other U.S., allied, and coalition military forces.
