Indian Ocean (Jan. 20, 2005) - An MH-60S Knighthawk helicopter, assigned to the "Gunbearers" of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Eleven (HC-11), Detachment Two, hovers over the flight deck of the Military Sealift Command (MSC) fleet replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199) as a civilian mariner connects a hoisting sling to a pallet of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief supplies. The pallets were transferred to the MSC fast combat support ship USNS Rainer (T-AOE 7), for further distribution to ships supporting Operation Unified Assistance, the humanitarian relief effort to aid the victims of the tsunami that struck Southeast Asia. Rainier is part of the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) Carrier Strike Group. Tippecanoe is operating as part of the 7th Fleet Logistics Task Force (CTF-73).
