Caribbean Sea (Feb. 4, 2005) -- An MH-60S Knighthawk assigned to the
“Chargers” of Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Six
(HC-6), hovers above the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS
Saipan (LHA 2), as it picks up supplies during a vertical replenishment
(VERTREP). HC-6 is transporting palettes of food and relief supplies
from Saipan to the shore of Haiti in support of Operation New Horizons.
As part of New Horizons, U.S. forces will build schoolhouses, drill
wells and provide medical attention to the people of Haiti. U.S. Navy
