KADENA AIR BASE, Japan (AFPN)- U.S. Air Force personnel from the 18th Aeromedical Squadron, Kadena Air Base, Japan, prepare to be "rescued" by a Navy SH-60 helicopter from the  aircraft carrier US Kitty Hawk during a water mass casualty training during Joint Air and Sea Exercise 2005 at White Beach Naval Station, Okinawa, Japan.  The 18th AES Airmen were part of an aircrew that "crashed" in the ocean. Air Force HH-60 helicopters from the 33rd Rescue Squadron here and Navy helicopters participated in the training. JASEX provides a unique opportunity for air and naval forces to work toget in a maritime environment, including training with the U.S. carrier strike group and attached air wing.
