Gulf of Mexico (Sept. 5, 2005) -- Air Department personnel load Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs) onto an HH-60H Seahawk helicopter on the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). The missions flown by the Seahawks will provide thousands of MRE meals to victims of Hurricane Katrina along the Gulf Coast. The Navy's involvement in the Hurricane Katrina humanitarian assistance operations is led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
