(US Gulf Coast)  On board USS Harry S. Truman -- Lt. Micah Fiksman, a pilot assigned to the "Battle Cats" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Light Squadron (HSL) 43, performs a pre-flight check on the tail rotor of an SH-60 Seahawk helicopter, prior to take off from the flight deck of USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).  As part of the combined Helicopter Strike Maritime Squadron involved with Joint Task Force Gulf Coast, the Battle Cats are flying search and rescue missions into New Orleans.  The Navy's involvement in the humanitarian assistance operation is being lead by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense.  US Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 3rd Class Craig R.
