Osan, Republic of South Korea (March 28, 2006) -- An SH-60F Helicopter assigned to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Two (HS-2) "Golden Falcons," makes an approach to an unprepared landing zone in the Republic of Korea during exercises conducted in conjunction with Operation Foal Eagle. The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) and Carrier Airwing Two (CVW-2) are currently steaming in the Republic of Korea Operational Area in support of Operation Foal Eagle, a joint land and maritime training operation utilizing forces from both the United States and the Republic of Korea.
