Osan, Republic of South Korea (March 28, 2006) -- Following an
afternoon flight in support of Operation Foal Eagle, Aviation Warfare
Systems Operator 1st Class (NAC) Cory Merritt, an air crewman assigned
to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Two (HS-2) "Golden Falcons,"
makes his way back to the hangar for a post flight debrief. The
Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) and Carrier
Airwing Two (CVW-2) are currently steaming in the Republic of Korea
Operational Area in support of Operation Foal Eagle, a joint land and
maritime training operation utilizing forces from both the United
