Mediterranean Sea (June 2, 2006) - Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Damon Box
taxi's an MH-60S Knighthawk onto the flight deck of the guided-missile
frigate USS Simpson FFG 56. Simpson and the amphibious assault ship USS
Saipan (LHA 2) are participating in a multi-national combined exercise
with North African and European forces during exercise Phoenix Express.
The exercise provides U.S. and allied forces an opportunity to
participate in diverse maritime training scenarios helping to increase
maritime domain awareness and strengthen emerging and enduring
