An HH-60G Pave Hawk, assigned to Nellis A.F.B., Nev. prepares to touch down into the “landing zone” as Pararescuemen from Nellis extract a simulated downed pilot during a search and recovery scenario held during a Weapons School training course at Ft. Bliss, Texas April 9, 2004. The exercise was part of the 57th Wing Weapons School intensive 5 ½ month training program. The exercise concentrates on the HH-60 Weapons School Division students performing flying tasks combined with integrated training with the 66th Rescue Squadron as part of the course curriculum. The mission of the USAF Weapons School (USAFWS, is to teach graduate-level instructor courses that provides the world's most advanced training in weapons and tactics employment to officers of the combat air forces.
