Senior Airman Jacob Small, 319th Aircraft Generation Squadron, Grand
Forks AFB, North Dakota inspects the engine of a KC-135R Stratotanker
at RAF Mildenhall on May 13, 1999. Small is assigned to the 100th
Aircraft Generation Squadron on a temporary basis to help the 100th Air
Expeditionary Wing maintain it's tanker support for NATO Operation
Allied Force. The KC-135R is undergoing a periodic isochronal
maintenance inspection which normally takes six days but is being
accomplished in three with 12 hourshifts around the clock. (U.S.
