Senior Airman Eduardo Beltran, 22nd Maintenance Squadron, McConnell
AFB, Kansas inspects the left main landing gear of a KC-135R
Stratotanker at RAF Mildenhall on May 13, 1999. Beltran is
assigned to the 100th Aircraft Generation Squadron on a temporary basis
to help the 100th Air Expeditionary Wing maintain it's tanker support
for Operation Allied Force. The KC-135R is undergoing a periodic
isochronal maintenance inspection which normally takes six days but is
being accomplished in three with 12 hour shifts around the clock.
