Pacific Ocean (June 26, 2004) -- A flight deck director assigned to the Air Department aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), prepares a T-45C Goshawk for launch from one of four steam-powered catapults, during flight deck operations. Lincoln is currently conducting at sea operations in preparation for the ship's deployment next year, following a Dry Docked Planned Incremental Availability (DPIA) maintenance schedule.
