Atlantic Ocean (Mar. 7, 2005) -- A naval aviation student makes an
arrested landing in a T-45A Goshawk, assigned to the "Golden Eagles" of
Fixed Wing Training Squadron Two Two (VT-22), during Naval and
Marine Corps student pilots carrier qualifications aboard the
conventionally powered aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67).
The T-45A Goshawk is a carrier-capable trainer aircraft used by both
the Navy and Marine Corps for pilot training. The Mayport, Fla., based
aircraft carrier is conducting scheduled carrier qualifications in the
