Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. (Mar. 9, 2003) -- During pre-flight checks, an EA-6B Prowler plane captain, Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Pepper Ringenberg, assigned to the “Yellow Jackets” of Electronic Attack Squadron One Thirty Eight (VAQ-138), communicates to the aircrew to remove their hands from all controls as arming pins are removed.  VAQ-138 is currently embarked aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) with Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9) on deployment in the western Pacific Ocean, conducting missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 2nd Class Anthony Pugliani.  (RELEASED)
